A blend of apples from the orchard at Treowen, Monmouthshire. The large waxy apple (formally thought to be ‘Pig’s Face’) has now been DNA tested and is ‘Collogget Pippin’ aka ‘Cornish Giant’. This was blended at pressing with the notoriously acid Foxwhelp and was left to mature in bottle for over a year before release.
